Kandinsky drop earrings

The Kandinsky drop earrings play with ideas of movement and balance and are influenced by the work of artist Wassily Kandinsky. They are made in contrasting natural and ebonised native Irish yew and hang from a sterling silver snake chain. The Burren wildflower beeswax polish gives an extra lustre to the beautifully smooth, lightweight wood. It comes in 2 different options, natural or black.

Each piece is made from locally sourced, sustainable wood and so will be completely unique. While the size and shape will be as pictured, there is considerable variation in the colour and grain of every piece of wood. Each piece of this contemporary wooden jewellery is designed and hand made by Rowena Sheen in Ennistymon in County Clare, Ireland.

Each piece comes in a presentation box. The wooden drop earring measures 2.5 x 5 cm and is attached to a sterling silver ear post with a butterfly back.
