Galway coaster

Civitates Orbis Terrarum is the great city atlas, engraved with beautiful bird’s-eye views and maps of cities from all over the world. This historic map of Galway is copied from “The theatre of the empire of Great Britaine” by John Speed (1611-1612 ), making this coaster a must-have for history aficionados and lovers of the beautiful western town alike!

This coaster features the image “Galwaye” from Civitates Orbis Terrarum (Cities of the World) by Georg Braun, 1572-1618, Cologne, CBL AK411 from the Chester Beatty collections. 

This coaster is made from heat, stain and scratch resistant melamine with 4 mm hardboard and cork backing. Coaster size 9.5 x 9.5 x 0.4 cm.
