Edo in Colour: Prints from Japan’s Metropolis in the Collections of the Chester Beatty is the accompanying catalogue written by Mary Redfern. It features more than one hundred prints and printed books from the exhibition. ‘Selling the City’, ‘Bravura’, ‘Chic’, ‘Prosperity’ and ‘Place’ – dwelling on the different aspects, this colourful publication takes us on a tour of the images of the Edo city.

This catalogue is in paperback format and measures 22  x 30 x 1.5 cm.
